Chapter Fifty Eight: An Underground Operation

"You don't suppose that all the wonderful flair surrounding the excitement for these Games will foil the plan that we have in place. Obviously, there must be an alternative course of action when some things don't proceed in the way we expected it to be?"

"Of course. Our Sinister Agents are not dumb to lose sight of what actually needs to be done. An act of sacrifice must not lose its value."

"And to keep it in secret."

"Yes."

"Then betrayal also becomes a vital part of this most sensitive operation. We needed the Steel of Willows to be corrupted with a very distinct poison, and to achieve that end, one must allow evil to reign for a moment. It must be a poison that is beyond the present comprehension of the most intelligent Potioneers."

"Do you still remember how they have managed to trick the See of Colors by using the same magical ability that we have, because we have trusted too much to certain forms of leadership?"

"It was a mistake to rely solely on authority."

"Yes. That is correct. A lesson abruptly emerges although the taste is bitter, all to be recollected as a matter of necessity."

"And with respect to this Underground Route, how was it? Will there be a risk of exposing it to the Fellowship once we move on with this critical operation of legalizing these Willows, smuggle the corrupted weapons out, and foil Satan's obsession to the Relics as he is busy planning with his own latitude for success?"

"These orders are very clear. We are ready to fight at the earliest opportunity."

"But, definitely, we must distance ourselves from traditional politics at once! Most high-rollers in this most dignified Gamble will have their own sufficient ways to get to the bottom of any attempts of forced cheating with regards to the regulations on the operation of the Sinister Agents."

"That is correct."

"And how about the bids?"

"Everything will be left untouched to leave the appearance of fairness, and the entire operation will stick to the order of the current rules."

"And how sure are you with respect to the other narrative report?"

"The mines to create the iron for the Willows will operate in as many secretive shifts and as quietly as possible."

"And what about the corruption of the Steel of Willows? When will the poison takes effect?"

"That is, I believe, the main problem for now."

"We need to leave some things open in case the plan is later on sabotaged. Anything goes at this point."

"Exactly."

"Well then."

"Welcome to the craziest Purple Junket to ever be staged. More than greed, it is a battle for good against evil."

"Let the Plagiarism begin."
