Chapter Thirty Eight: The Willow Twigs

"And what about the daggers? The steel twigs we are talking about?"

"And what about them?"

"What do you mean, 'What about them?' Isn't this the product of your own imagination? Why is it my problem now? Do you think this Steel of Willows will not reach the wrong hands? Now it happened! What else is there to do?"

"Then we need to stop these plagiarists from utilizing the Steel of Willows. We need to create an army to hold them accountable for any atrocity made under our sacred name."

"An army? Do you hear yourself saying and doing this treacherous ordeal? What if they turn against us, too? What will we do then? This idea is much worse than this Steel of Willow of yours. It is doomed to fail!"

"Doomed to fail? We have no other choice but to create these little twigs and daggers. There is nothing much else to do."

"I have no idea if you truly comprehended the meaning of the word 'loyalty' even though you are a Linguist yourself. We have to make sure these Willows will not prosper to be a dedly weapon themselves!"

"How about this army of yours that you wanted to be instituted? Who are they? What do they want to achieve? Speak to me about this, at once!"

"They will be called Anti-Plagiarists, and their main purpose is to prevent this plagiarism of nature and life that the Steel of Willows will allow them to acquire through the density of its metaphysical properties."

"The Anti-Plagiarists? Is this such a curious name?"

"Yes. Yes, it is."

"I still do not know how this army would be able to help us."

"We must be able to put them out there immediately, let them assimilate in the most vital stories, and then hope for the best. That is the way to go."

"But how?"

"By using their Willow daggers."

"How can they use the daggers? How can they access the magical properties of the Steel, and make them obey?"

"The inkblotts and the parchments are powerful enough to conceal them within."

"Can they really? Again, how?"

"Only space and time can tell at this point."

"And should we put our own destiny in the hands of a mere probability? Are we taking too much risk at this point?"

"As I've said, there is no other choice that is left for our own thinking. We must do this at once. Predestination and our common destiny are waiting on the other side. We cannot journey on forever and choose to never arrive. Time will eventually run out."

"There is no assurance that everything will be okay, right? We have to fight alongside evil."

"Yes. Unfortunately, that is the unfortunate case."

"So, when are you planning to create these Anti-Plagiarists?

"Hopefully, after we have surived this year's Prudence Wars."
