Chapter Twenty Four: An Open Pit of Snakes

The signs of the times had come.

The Mages are now realizing the fact that the time of the Holy War is nearing its prophetic fulfillment. The wind has become much colder, and the movement from where it blows was noticably been altered, too. Normally, no one sees the little changes as it is happening, but this time the signs are clear. It will happen very soon; the Holy War must occur exactly how the constellations of the stars have predicted its course of action.

The dark night sky offers much of the clues that needed the most ardent attention of all creation. A perpendicular star is missing from the Celestial coordinates, and it may have been altered by the same forces who would want to instigate the Holy War with premature provocation. The Devil had always been the one that resembles deceit and confusion. His character will not change for the better, as the effect of his curse, and, because of this, he is the culprit of all misery and the suffering of the many.

He is the poison of literature, Lucifer the Devil. The exact venom that corrupts the goodness of the heart.

The Mages have also noticed a pattern of changes within the pit of serpents that have been under their control, to prevent it from escaping and produce more evil from the dimensions that are already under its spell of extreme peril.

The time to sound the alarm is now. The Prudence Wars must result to a perfect condition that is conducive to the quiet return to power, an establishment that will be a friendly environment that will accomodate the learnings of the several laws in Alchemic education.

For the Mages, this is the main subject of the Celestial Pact that they have made with the Angelic Hosts since the time they have discovered the purpose of their talents and abilities.

They have embraced their own downfall in order to rise again; they took a share of the misery that is the known residue of the sins of the past, and the stain of evil. The only way out of the prophesied impending doom is to face it courageously head-on. The only way out is through.

As the snakes become increasingly agitated, the Mages are slowly preparing for their release before the limitations of Alchemy as extended then comes into play. When that happens, it is their ultimate responsibility to help cleanse the land from all unwanted hatred (also called by some as the "straw of the Spindle") by enlisting the cooperation of the distinct power of the Crown jewels as it was determined by a valid Agreement for such specific purpose.

It must be that the Potioneers and Dark Masters must become intrinsically "one" before the cooperation enters into effect. By then, a Holy War ignites, the first in the many other dimensions. The beginning is here; this is the bitter destiny that needed to be embraced.

Even the hiss of the serpents are getting powerful now.
