Chapter Fifteen: The Committee of Crown Jewellers

Of course, there's nothing else more grand than the Purple Junket's Crown as the ultimate reward of winning the Prudence Wars, which contains, among others, the five precious stones that are supposed to possess very specific cosmic powers.

Within the intricate ranks of the Most Prudent Treaty Organization, there are several offices that are entrusted with the most important tasks within the provisions of the Treaty that is left to the custody of the most trustworthy, hence, the term "prudence" included in its name, coat-of-arms, and official seals. One of these offices is called the Committee of the Crown Jewellers.

This Crown is beautifully created by an unknown Blacksmith, which was made with 24 karat gold, adorned by many precious stones, most of which are pure diamonds which was mined with near perfect solid carbon characteristics, arranged in a pattern reminiscent of an intricate textile design, containing a wreath with five arches and an orb on top that is beautifully positioned in the center. But at the middle of the five arches are where the five power stones are located, which comes in the form of an emerald, ruby, sapphire, amethyst, and a pearl (which is a gem, rather than a stone).

It was generally known that these stones were just fulfilling a sophisticated, aesthetic role to the entire crown's intrinsic value, and nobody is quite aware that these stones were, in fact, no ordinary stones, but materials acquired with a strong cosmic power, some of which belongs to other dimensions other than what is consistently revealed in this present story.

There are little known literature describing the powers of the four stones and the gem, but the history of this ornament is well within the cognizance of the Mages, which, according to their memory, was made as a time capsule, a means to travel into a petrified moment in time, more than a mere prize to the tradition of this selfish contest.

After all, prudence is always desired, but missing.

And so the tale continues, and together with it are the lies that have been handed down from generation to generation, and the sincere display of wit in battle and personal skills to settle stupid questions proposed by greedy politicians. Not even the Committee of the Crown Jewellers have been told of this hidden secret, and there is no way for this carefully guarded secret to be discovered in itself.

Not yet. But soon. Maybe. No one knows.

But apart from these precious stones, the most important part of this crown aside from its ornanental value is the orb on top, the orb that has been used by the Magicians as a great symbol of their power, and they have hidden it in the crown itself to avoid it from being stolen, despite their forced absence from the realm and the rest of the lands that are very important to their race, and ultimate existence, of the things that depend on their cosmic roles.

In this Prudence Wars, the time has come for the secret to finally manifest itself, and hopefully, for it to arrive and be understood, just in time for the appearance of the perpendicular star.
